Oscar Carvallo fuses art and fashion in a spectacular fashion collection for couture spring-summer 2014.
On January 21st in Paris, the new collection that merged artist Carlos Cruz-Diez and fashion designer Oscar Carvallo, Couture Spring-Summer 2014, was introduced.
The inspiration comes from six paintings by Carlos Cruz-Diez
This is the second collaboration between the designer and the artist through which they convert the female body into a work of art. The prints, shapes, textures and details have been created from six paintings made exclusively for the collection by Carlos Cruz-Diez. With his special care to details and finishes, oscar Carvallo mixes silk, muslin, silk gazar, and lace with neoprene, mesh and metal strips. With the interplay of colors and movements, the fine jewelry created by the artist complete the bright colors looks.
