How Menopause Information Has Changed over 20 Years

This video explains why estrogen therapy has been so confusing, and how to think about menopause information.

The treatment of menopause has gone through enormous change over the past two decades. Many of the most important research papers about how to help women in and around menopause were published in the journal Menopause.

Throughout the journal’s long history, it has had only one editor – Isaac Schiff, MD. He is Chief of the Vincent Obstetrics and Gynecology Service at Massachusetts General Hospital and Editor in Chief of Menopause. I caught up with him at the Annual Meeting of the North American Menopause Society in Dallas and asked him to comment on how information has changed and how the care of women in menopause has changed over the past 20 years. His comments are in the video above.
